Course Overview

The transformative 2-Day ESG Xcelerator Project Building & Planning program, is designed for in-depth capacity building of IDGs and its ability to accelerate the ESGs.It enables individuals and organizations with the tools, insights, and strategies needed to drive lasting and impactful sustainability initiatives. This program is tailored to facilitate meaningful growth, align personal purpose with sustainability, and catalyse positive change across various sectors. The focus will be on project building and planning E/S/G using IDG as a platform for acceleration.

Participants will uncover the intrinsic connection between inner growth and sustainable progress, enabling each participant to be a catalyst for positive change. This dynamic training showcases the will to execute impactful actions that lie within each one of us, and the downstream effects that ripple across ESG reporting, business impact, talent engagement, profitability and other crucial strategic priorities.

By the end of the program, participants will have identified potential project areas in their businesses where ESG and IDG could be incorporated for better business performance, that will lead to a high-level action planning for what will require to be done with the relevant resources needed to put the plan into action. This will feed into the 3-month journey where the identified projects will be monitored for progress and completion.

  • Embark on a journey of self-discovery and exploration as we delve into the heart of sustainable change.
  • Through interactive sessions, participants will map their values, understand the significance of ESG and SDGs, and collaboratively identify gaps within their organizations.
  • Unveil the power of the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) and learn how they can be a driving force behind sustainable transformation.

Day 2: Integrating IDGs for Sustainable Impact

  • Witness the convergence of personal purpose and organizational goals as IDGs align seamlessly with SDGs and ESGs.
  • Real-world case studies will illuminate the potential of IDGs in propelling sustainability efforts.
  • Unite with fellow participants to co-create actionable plans for integrating IDGs into daily life and work.
  • Engage in crafting compelling narratives, through discussions with colleagues from other areas in the organization to identify gaps that can be closed, to ensure this data resonates with stakeholders to augment onward action.

  • Team Break-out session – “What are the current organisation gaps on ESG?” participants will be split into groups that represent E – Environmental, S – Sustainable and G – Governance

  • Exploring Personal Purpose: Interactive discussion on how aligning personal purpose with sustainability can drive meaningful change.
  • Guided Reflection: “The 24-Hour Challenge” – Participants assess how they currently utilize their time and explore opportunities for purposeful actions.

Inner Development Goals (IDGs) Unveiled

  • Introduction to Inner Development Goals (IDGs): Understanding the concept and its potential impact on sustainable change.
  • Overview of the 5 Dimensions in the IDG’s, Being, Thinking, Relating, Collaborating, Acting.
  • Why do we need the IDG skills? – Brief overview of the 23 IDG skills.
  • Workshop: “Defining Your True North” – Participants revisit their core values and identify their unique contribution to sustainability, and identify any applicable IDG skill to help them in their vision.

DAY 2 : Integrating IDGs for Sustainable Impact : Aligning IDGs with SDGs and ESGs

  • Connecting the Dots: How Inner Development Goals can amplify the effectiveness of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
  • Case Studies, Success Stories and Discussion: Reviewing real-world examples of organizations integrating IDGs to enhance sustainability efforts.

Constructing a Compelling Business Case

  • Crafting the Message: Strategies for communicating the value of IDGs to stakeholders, including investors and decision-makers.
  • Group Activity: “Pitching IDGs” – Teams develop persuasive pitches to encourage a shift towards long-term prosperity.

Implementing IDGs Across Sectors

  • “IDGs in Action” – Views from varied organizational sectors to share their possibilities and challenges in integrating IDGs.
  • Brainstorming and Action Planning for identified Projects : Participants work in groups to outline actionable steps for introducing IDGs within their respective spheres – Revisit Gaps identified on Day 1.
Commitment to Sustainable Change
  • Participants share their potential projects for implementing IDGs to accelerate SDG and ESG targets at work, through a display of tangible steps and milestones and resources needed for success.
  • Personal Action Plan: Participants create a roadmap for integrating IDGs into their daily lives and work.
